Community Partner

Schools, congregations or other community groups are invited to license the Parents Forum curriculum materials and train volunteers from their group to present Parents Forum workshops.  The standard license costs $100/month, discounted $200 for full payment in advance, that is, $1000/year. * * The license is being offered for a limited time for a special price of $749.00. * * 
 
This fee is based on the the assumption that the group will find an agency or receive a grant to sponsor the program or that a group will have at least ten individuals, each willing to pay $10/month to belong. If an agency or grant supports the program, individual participants then would not be charged.
 
Parents Forum board members provide volunteer training and technical support in planning the community activities. Community partners are able to purchase copies of program handbook 'Where the Heart Listens' at a reduced price. Other benefits include free use of DVDs in the Parents Forum library, including the recently released 'Consuming Kids: The Commercialization of Childhood' produced by the Media Education Foundation.
 
A limited number of licenses will be granted starting September 2010.  Applications from interested group leaders will be considered in the order received. Please send a letter of interest to Parents Forum, 144 Pemberton Street, Cambridge MA 02140-2509 and request an application form.
