"I liked the conversational formula 'I feel-about-because--' and the 'algebra lesson' with discipline and affection axes."
"I realize there are many other parents like me worrying about the same thing."
"It helped to hear other parents' concerns."
"[I realize] I am not alone."
"It helped me relate to other parents."
"I liked the sharing, the frankness, the practicality."

Donor Appreciation Reception
PARENTS FORUM is pleased to announce receipt of a $10,000 bequest from Hilda Leveen and The Leveen Family Fund. Nelson J. Costa, administrator of the
Estate of Hilda Leveen, selected PARENTS FORUM as a beneficiary after reading and hearing about the organization's commitment to the children and families of greater Cambridge. Mr. Costa wrote that Ms. Leveen "would have regaled at the thought of helping children and parents who want to learn to be
even better families and would have appreciated this profound effort."
Please join us in celebrating this unexpected gift with PARENTS FORUM board members on Monday, December 13, between 5 and 6:30 at 99 Bishop Allen Drive, the Cambridge Community Services Building (lower level) in Central Square, one block from the RedLine T stop at the corner of Essex Street and Bishop Allen Drive. Street parking may be available; city lots are nearby and the Green Street garage is located one block on the other side of Central Square (from Mass.Ave. turn onto Pearl Street, then turn right onto Green Street and find the garage entrance on your left).
" We are very grateful for this generous gift," said PARENTS FORUM
Founder Eve Sullivan, " and appreciate Mr. Costa's confidence in our program.
We will use this donation to fulfill our mission of parent education and honor
Hilda Leveen's memory in doing so." For information on PARENTS FORUM or
this event, call 617 - 864-3801 or send email to info@parentsforum.org.
RSVPs will be appreciated!
