This and That: POEM

This poem was written by our founder's sister and captures something of the essence of PARENTS FORUM in mentioning both potential and generosity. We look for these strengths in ourselves and we look for them, as well, in other parents and our children. We sometimes close a workshop by reading this poem.

You are like the sun, my friends

The sun, rising red, prepares to light the day.
It has infinite potential.

The sun, setting, throws gold to purple clouds.
It is infinitely generous.
